The supporters of Man city booed when SpVgg Blauer Platz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romain Hintermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Frasier Sauerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Man city's supporters rose to their feet, but Frasier Sauerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pius Jung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Kian Korner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Man city's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kian Korner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The wind increased when Mischa Schwartz made the kick off in the second half.
